Indian film-maker Pooja Bhatt’s latest venture “Rog” has proved a hit in the ongoing film festival in Pakistan. Besides, other Bollywood films like Maqbool and Dhoop are also attracting much crowds.
Starring Irfan Khan, “Rog” is Pooja’s second film in succession that has been premiered in Pakistan, the first one being “Paap”. Written by her father and director Mahesh Bhatt, “Rog” is a tale of a cop falling in love with a woman whose murder he is investigating.

Two of Bollywood’s production icons, Mahesh and Pooja Bhatt, are due in the city this week to attend the second annual dinner of a fashion magazine, sources from the fashion industry told Daily Times.
The Depilex Vision has arranged the exclusive event, and the country’s top fashionistas and Lollywood stars are likely to grace the occasion. The sources said the celebrations are a part of broader interaction with South Asian Association for Regional Cooperation countries and to promote the fashion industry in the region.
In their three-day stay in Lahore, both Mr and Ms Bhatt will meet a number of people from the showbiz and the fashion world.

Karachi is famous for food, sandy beaches, bustling lifestyle and Kara Film festival. Kara film festival is an event organized by KaraFilm society a group of young committed filmmakers.
Last year’s festival “Dekh magar Pyar se” (”watch but do it with love” is probably the right translation for the phrase) was a blast. Among many other attractions of this festival there were movies such as “Khamosh Pani aka silent waters” winner of Grand Prize at Locarno Film Festival, world premier of “Paap” a Mahesh Bhatt production directed by Pooja Bhatt and “Ghar ki Talash”. The festival was a smash hit thousands of people visited and watched movies with great enthusiasm. There were movies from USA, UK, Europe, Bangladesh, India and Pakistan.
